Al Qaeda No. 2 Mocks New U.S. Strategy for Iraq
Apparently, Al-Qaeda deputy leader, Ayman al-Zawahri, is taking President Bush's new war strategy as a joke. "In a videotape intercepted by U.S. Washington-based SITE Institute, the Al-Qaeda terrorist challenged President Bush to send the entire army, stating that insurgents would defeat them all." The message hadn't been posted on Islamic militant web sites as of yet, so they don't think al-Zawahri is aware that the U.S. has seen the tape. The Al-Qaeda leader claimed that Bush's plan was doomed for failure. He asked Bush why he doesn't just send 100 thousand soldiers to Iraq, because the Iraqi insurgents are eager to kill American troops. "He also said that he would free the world of America's evil, with the help and power of the Muslim god, Allah."
